The High Crown Chronicles release date is nearly here. It comes out tomorrow (9/7/2020).
I can’t even tell you how excited I am for this. This release has been years in the making. I actually started writing The High Crown Chronicles for my 2012 NaNoWriMo project. I did not win that year, and spent the next seven years finishing and then revising this novel to make it what it finally became (really..the gods just ended up as a plot point a year ago!).
So, of course, this being 2020 and Covid-19 being this thing with ridiculously long tentacles that reaches into everything, I found out just a week ago that the print copies are delayed at the warehouse. So for anyone who ordered a print copy, I am so sorry for that delay. If you ordered a print copy, let me know and I will mail you a bookmark, map of the kingdoms, and an autographed bookplate as my apology for the delay.
I’m going to be doing my first Facebook Live event tomorrow (9/7/2020) at 1:00 pm MST. I also have a “Show Me Your Crown” giveaway going on my Facebook & Instagram. All you have to do to enter for a chance to win a free autographed copy of The High Crown Chronicles (yes, I actually have a few print copies!–no waiting), some High Crown swag, and a $10 Amazon gift card is post a photo of you wearing a crown, or holding your copy of The High Crown Chronicles in the comments section. In case anyone doesn’t know, The High Crown Chronicles series also has a theme song. I’m very fortunate to have a talented musician in my family (my 17 year old son), and when I asked him to create a song, he obliged. I gave him an overview of some story line points for the entire series and told him to make it dark and vengeful. He totally came through (as a warning, it does have some language, and is rap, so if you’re opposed to either, you may not appreciate it as much as I do).
